Ship´s propeller

With today’s ship’s propellers from CFK, mostly single blades are produced which are later connected with the hub via dovetail guides or something similar. Consequently, the resulting power transmission is not fiber-oriented, and therefore, mechanical problems arise. Moreover, the production is relatively expensive.

With the TRP reinforcement structure, nearly all rovings run through all three blades. This guarantees a high power transmission between the single blades and the hub. Moreover, the complete ship’s propeller can be produced in one shot and be much more cost-effective.
