Stator vane

The reduction of component weight in comparison to metal vanes and the raise of reproducibility to other textile techniques. At the same time it is the goal to reduce the cost of a component.

The use of conventional textile reinforcements is very difficult as the stator blade is profiled in two directions. With constant fibre volume the reinforcement structure needs to have locally varying thickness. At the same time, fibre orientations that are appropriate to the load are to be realised. By means of the TFP-technology it is possible to fulfil these demands. The excellent repeatability of the TFP-technique meets all of the quality requirements.
