Resign Transfer Moulding

Injection Technology

For many years Hightex has the know-how and the equipment for resin injection of reinforcement structures and uses them corresponding to the production of complete fiber compound components.

Important injection technology at Hightex is the pressure injection process with stable mould cavity. The core of elastromers or lost cores enable a large spectrum of components with hollow bodies and high fiber content. These create, in connection with the reinforcing structures, a minimized component mass with very high strength and stiffness.

Components with low quantities and the construction of the prototype´s are utilized for the vacuum foil process. Also with this process the fiber content is normally 60 Vol. %. The duromers are mostly epoxy resins, where the cure temperature can be from room temperature until 180 °C depending on the type of resin.
